Time To Get To Know Pagan Min Of Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4

A new trailer for Far Cry 4 has been released by Ubisoft to show of a bit more of the personality of Pagan Min from the game

Villains are always the most interesting characters and Pagan Min of Far Cry 4 is quickly shaping up to be that way. Especially since the recent trailer for the game that highlights a bit more of how the character acts and possible motivations has been released. In the past we’ve had a bit on the character including all the fun controversy that surrounded the original announcement but I think what we have here could just put a pin in making him one of the most interesting in a while. Just about up there with Negan of The Walking Dead comic books if you ask me.

I’ll let you have a look and let you see what you think of Pagan Min in the latest Far Cry 4 trailer below. Stay tuned afterwards for more talk though.

Even though it was such a short bit one new footage for Far Cry 4 I think that a lot was pinpointed as far as the character goes. Just like The Joker from anything Batman, the sheer insanity, confidence, and willingness to do whatever is going to entertain all; it sure has for me so far. It is that sort of mentality that intrigues humans or plays upon a form of wish fulfillment that weaker or meeker creature wish to be. It is what makes villains so much fun to watch and interact with; even if your end goal is to kill them.

To go further, this may or may not be the case for Pagan in Far Cry 4, but there are always things that led up to making the villain the way they are. Heroes are usually driven by the need to protect and or save something. Anyone can really step into a hero role if they have enough gumption to do something. It’s the twisting, actions, and conditioned warped view that generally drives a villain. There are so many steps that led to someone to that life and thus they usually have a richer back story and motivations.

Having one’s parents murdered in front of them is a good driving goal to rid the streets of villains. All of the nuances that go into creating the ultimate villain or their end goal are usually the stronger aspect when the story is boiled down. I hope this is fully explored in Far Cry 4 and Pagan Min. If not then this whole rant was for not. I guess we’ll see on November 18th. The day that gamers had too many titles to play.
