A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
It is time to put one more week in the bag when it comes to all of those video games out there. We have been doing what we can to catch up to all of the announcements and updates we have had up to now, but we still have many more to go. Especially when we have updates like #HellraiserRevival getting a release date, and other games like #Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered getting updates outside of the big events that went down. Not to mention other video games like #ControlResonant and Resonance: #APlagueTale Legacy getting a lot of new footage just ahead of the release cycle they are about to get into. So many fun titles and so little time. Not to mention, so many more to go.

Horror title, The Pines, offers up a new look at the gameplay and world that we can expect out there in #ThePines
It looks as if it is time to head into a new and dark wooded area, with some new gameplay that we have for The Pines. A new psychological horror title for the #PC that Studio Abattoir has been working on for a bit, and now we get to see more of that gameplay after a bit of a wait. A bit of gameplay that shows off how this RPG, of sorts, will allow for all of our choices to come about and mean something out there in The Pines. Not to mention, something that will make us all question our own sanity and that of our characters as we watch the events play out. If that sounds like something that is your flavor of fun, then kick back and get ready to see what this one has for us in the latest footage.

The next character for Invincible VS is on display, as we wait a little bit more to see Universa coming to #InvincibleVS
On June 30th the first wave of DLC for #Invincible VS will be landing on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. As long as you have that Year 1 Character pass that Skybound has offered up. One that will add in a few characters over the coming year, with The Immortal already announced, and now a look at Universa as the 19th character to join the fight. Thankfully, not another of the many Viltrumites that we have had up to now. Yes, I will keep hammering that home for Invincible VS, and then be glad when we get something that deviates from that. Which is exactly what Universa is aiming to do, while also saving her people in the game. As long as the fight actually has the chance to leave Earth and go off to parts unknown in the universe…

Three of the big titles for Hitman are on the way back to us all with the announcement for #Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered
The world of assassination just will not stay in the shadows, as we now have #HitmanRemastered on the way to us in 2027. Just on the heels of so many other fun things that have been placed out there for the IP, it looks as if Saber Interactive and IO Interactive wanted to make sure those who missed out on some of the classic games will have a chance to play them again on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Well, more play three of the Hitman titles again, but with many of the upgrades and changes that we would expect to have in a modern video game. That all said, let us have a look at which of the titles were important enough to be brought back into our lives in a new way.

The release date for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is finally set, with #Hellraiser ready before this Halloween
It feels as if it has taken forever, but here we go with a release date set for Clive Barker’s #HellraiserGame: Revival. This is something that I know I was expecting Saber Interactive to show off in the bigger reveals recently, but I am still glad we now get to know when it will hit the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. I could keep the pain of that knowledge a little more obfuscated for you, but I will just say that Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will be launching on October 8th of this year. Hitting the sweet spot right before #Halloween and all of the other big horror titles launching out there. Not to mention, missing some of the other initial launches for everything landing in September. Let us all hope this was the right choice.

It has been one wild week here for video games, and we need to place a solid pin in it, or we are going to lose our minds. We have not even been able to catch up to all of the massive announcements and reveals that have come out, and there is still so much more. We had more for #StageTour coming out, the reveals and gameplay for #Halloween and #REVeronica, and then a little more for #KingdomHearts4 drop as well. And those are only a few of the video games that we had a chance to get to during the week here. There were so many that we had to just keep dropping videos on our social channels just to make sure you were not missing out. So, have a look over there if you feel like something is missing.
