A trio of PlayStation titles will be on display, with two of the upcoming #PlayStation titles having a few extras to go around
Even though there are many still out there who are not happy with PlayStation at the moment, we feel the same around here. It looks as if they will be out at #SDCC this year to push some of the titles that should still have a physical release tied to them. Well, maybe not #GodOfWar Laufey depending on when that will hit the #PS5. This is a topic for another day. That will be one of the big titles on display out at #SDCC2026, though, with two more coming and having playable experiences as well. All of which will have panels for those who want to go through the hassle of getting in. Oh, those other titles would happen to be Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 and #MARVELTokon: #FightingSouls. Both have gameplay that we can experience before their upcoming releases.

An escape room experience for the Lanterns show will be out at #SDCC, along with a few other HBO Max experiences
Those looking for a new kind of experience, and if they can hang with the Green Lantern Corps., will find it out there at #SDCC2026 this year. Not in just the normal cosplay and fandom style, but in a new way that HBO Max will be celebrating the upcoming #Lanterns show. Not just with some of the basics you might think of, but in a bit of training that one might go through. All of that is to say that there will be a fun activation out there to promote the show and give us all a bit of an escape room to participate in with the Lanterns Training Headquarters. So, a bit of a game along with a bunch of other elements from the upcoming show to get us all excited. As long as you are in the area of San Diego, CA from July 23rd to July 25th. That is not the only thing that HBO Max will have out there, but it is something that I am certain will get your attention so we can move into the rest of the fun. If that sounds like something you will want to enjoy out there, you can head over to hbomax.com/lanternstraininghq on July 13th at 9 am PST to sign up for a slot to go. Unless you are okay waiting in a long standby line. #HOTD

Audible will have a fun activation at SDCC for those who want to earn some XP out at #Audible’s Level Up Lounge
The fun out at #SDCC is just starting to ramp up, and it looks as if Audible will be heading out there to help us all level up our game. As long as you can make it out to the area and are looking to lounge it up during the convention weekend. All to help them promote the fun audiobooks for #DungeonCrawlerCarl, #HeadsWillRoll, and #Bobiverse. This is all in addition to the various panels and other little bits of fun Audible will be out there with. Things like a fun little food truck filled with Princess Donut’s donuts and a place where we can all record our own Crawler Incident Report. Along with having a solid little location to kick back and enjoy some of those good little reads and listens for all of the sci-fi and fantasy one could want out at the massive pop culture convention. Let’s get into the details now so you don’t miss out on the fun. #SDCC2026

The annual SDCC Fandom Party is on, with another fun headliner announced to play this year’s #SDCC Fandom Party
If there was any doubt that we would see #Fandom back at SDCC again, you can put all of that to rest. The ninth annual party has now been set for the convention, and we have a list of what to expect and who will be bringing us all together in the fun after hours. That’s also not to say that there will not be a lot of things we did not expect to be out there again, but that is for all involved to surprise us all with. Even if we do know that Halo: Campaign Evolved will be a big hit out there, along with all of the visual novels that Z2 Comics has brought us in the past. All to be closed out by the performances of The Coverups, featuring Green Day’s frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. Yeah, this year’s Fandom Part is going to be another one that no one will want to miss. #SDCC2026

The fun of Candy Land is coming to life before, during, and after SDCC 2026 with the #CandyLand Café
Another of those famed board game properties is coming to life, with the announcement of the #CandyLandCafe. A nice little bit of fun that will get us further into the sweet fun that Hasbro has been carrying for decades now. I am fairly certain that there are very few people out there who don’t have any clue about this famed board game, so it feels about right that they are going to hit us all with that nostalgia. Even if this will be a limited engagement thing starting on July 9th and running in San Diego, CA. The reason we are even bringing this up is that, given that this is the same company that held the Malibu Barbie Café during #SDCC, and how they have run their other big nostalgic experiences, it is highly likely that the Candy Land Café will also be given the same treatment. Fun news for board gamers and those who can make it out to San Diego, CA. Not to mention, the Malibu Barbie Café did run in other towns, so this could be something that expands out further as Bucket Listers have shown they are open to doing. #SDCC2026

Have a look at San Dingo Comic-Con through the lens of someone relatively new to the #ComicCon experience from 2025
It’s been a few months since my first #SDCC, and I’ve had time to reflect on my experience. When I was invited to Comic-Con, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I had heard about it from my friends and seen photos during some of the more popular Marvel-heavy Cons, but I had never done much digging into the Con itself.
I’ve broken my experience down into the pluses and the minuses, plus a few tips and tricks, with my overall review at the end. #SDCC2025
